so much to tell...

Hello friends,

It has been a whirl wind these past few days. I haven't had time to post. I have concluded the development stage of my products with the factory/Ms. Kong and am now in Hangzhou for a brief meeting with Judy. Tomorrow is Sunday and I plan to catch an early flight to Hong Kong to meet with Ming. I hope he will help me get my temporary tattoos going along with assorted hang tags and such. I've been told he can do it all and Dan Johnson says he would trust Ming with his life!

I have no internet in my room here. For some reason there is a technical problem. So I'm using the hotel computer and it's clunky. I will hopefully be able to blog more while waiting in the Hong Kong airport for my Monday AM flight.

There's nothing earth-shattering to share. The balance of this trip may actually even be a bit boring, but I want to finish the blog before my peanut-brain forgets this chapter of my life.

I will say that I'm extremely happy with the solutions Ms. Kong's factory came up with for some challenging parts of the blanket. For example, I needed some sort of finishing stitch along the organza edge as it is prone to fraying. Their first attempt was futile, a bad loopy stitch that was easily pulled loose. The end result was something stronger than my own attempts. Happiness!
