LAST DAY !!

The show was pretty slow this morning so Andrea and I took a taxi downtown! Our goal was to find cow girl boots. Lucky for us, we saw the perfect store. "BOOT BARN!!!" I screamed to the driver, "drop us off here!" It was a toe tappin' good time! We were both scootin' around talking in southern accents and dancing to country tunes. Andrea found a really cute pair for a reasonable price. I on the other hand only liked the $530.00 pair. WaaWaaaa! No boots for me. I'm glad I didn't buy the $160.00 ones either, looking back, they are far too sassy and would probably sit in my closet. SHWEW. I escaped another impulse buy.

We ran across the street to an outlet mall, it was ginormous. Andrea had a calzone for lunch and I had outlet chinese food. Lets just say I had to steal her pepperoni's and put them on my chinese food for flavor. Ewe. Then we shared an ice cream cone. Aren't we adorable? Did I mention we spooned last night? Or should I say Andrea woke up to me desperately clinging onto her. HA-HA. Sorry about that. No, really.

So we headed back to work and it was mostly exhibitors running around buying sample sales. I played with little babies and tryed on a really comfortable baby sling. Andrea found a fake baby filled with sand named Sandy and grew a strange attachment to her. Sheila couldn't get enough of this little one with bright red hair. He was so sweet and all he wanted to do was hug. She called him her little acorn squash. Heehee. We sold alot more blankets, it was nice to lighten our load!!

We tore everything down in about 1 hour. It went really smoothly. Then headed back to our hotel & changed for the Beatles show at the Mirage. The show exceded any expectations any of us had. We were right in front. I can't even describe it. IT WAS AH-MAHZING. Sheila described it best as "a sensory buffet." There were speakers right in your chair so the sound was incredible. People swinging over you, bouncing on trampolines and rollerblading. You could watch it a hundred times from every angle and see a different show. At the end a cute little boy handed me a rose. Adorable. Best show of my life.

Afterwards, Patrice caught the dancing bug. She pranced her way through the crowd doing move after move. The people around her couldn't help but smile and of course we all stood back and cracked up. It was great. But we still had packing to do! Back to the convention center. We packed everything into our boxes and shrink wrapped it all in about an hour. We also wandered around and picked up random goodies that everyone left behind. Score!

Now we are all going to bed again like usual. Tommorow we head to the airport at noon and should be back in MN around 10-ish. Why so late, you ask? We have a layover in Denver, plus we will be flying through time.

This is not the end of snugaboo!!
We hope to keep up on this blog as far as follow ups and orders go. We plan to do this show next year and hope to do one in New York in February. Thanks for reading everyone!!

Farewell for now!

Everyone at Hanley Wood really hope the show went well for everyone :)

I personally am going to love next month so hearing everyone there loving it sounded good.

I got to go hopefully Shelia can get a get together with the gang to tell us more on the experience.
