West Lake Adventure - Part 1

Today was a great adventure!

After I finished the last blanket design and we sent it off to the factory, we headed out for a great day of fun. We had been told that West Lake was a great place to spend a day.

We headed out on foot and walked in and out of many shops. One in particular didn't catch Megan's fancy but it did mine. There were tons of mopeds outside and there was a very long and flat escalator for the entrance. We went to the top and went in. It was a Chinese version of a Target Superstore but not really a Target. We came upon a tea aisle and all hell broke lose. We lost all control and bought many beautiful and CHEAP teas. Most of them have whole flowers in them a large sugar crystals. So pretty!

More details later. We are heading out to meet Sandra Lee, an english teacher in Hangzhou who is a friend of a friend of a friend - to go hiking up a mountain to a temple. Taxi will be here any minute!
