When We are Walking on Diamonds

Hello friends!

We thought it might be proper to capture the essence of our first night in our Hangzhou office (hotel room). As we stated earlier, we are in great need of detailed drawings to show the manufacturers so that they can give us pricing that reflects the add-ons like the fluffy satin edging, embroidered freckles and the new tail! Megan designed the most beautiful tail for the brown blanket. It is like the crowning jewel on the buttocks of the blanket. Oh the beauty, and with such and exclamation point! REALLY!

So whilst Megan was blogging, I was drawing pretty pictures. I figure the first one would take the longest. As the night progressed we were feeling pretty tired. We would try to shake it off by dancing on the beds, slapping each other (not in a fun way...?) and drinking coffee. At about 2:30AM we decided the one set for the brown blanket would be enough to get us some pricing.

The mugshot of Megan against our office wall (again, the hotel room) is an attempt to capture our mood. I think it speaks volumes. Megan some how blurted out the most incredible coo-coo statement "when we are walking on diamonds"...we will remember this crazy part or something like that. Thus the headline for today.

Tomorrow, Gracie and Michael Ma pick us up to go to the textile market. Fun!

At about 2AM, Megan caught the news about the earthquake in mainland China. So sad about all of the losses. We knew nothing about it and felt no tremors or anything. It was about 800 miles from us.
